Kaizen

| “Small actions are at the heart of kaizen. By taking steps so tiny that they seem trivial, you’ll sail calmly past obstacles.” ~ Robert D. Maurer ~ Alright, I stumbled onto a new word the other day and I’m way too excited about it…Kaizen. Japanese. Six letters. Sounds like a guy who’d beat you in chess without saying a word. Turns out it just means “continuous improvement.” That’s it. That’s the whole secret. Not “overhaul your entire life by Tuesday.” Just…make the bed a little tighter…drink one more glass of water…finally return that phone call you’ve been dodging like a subpoena. New word, same old advice: little things, done daily, beat big things done never. But hey, now we’ve got a fancy word for it. Break it out at your next dinner party. Watch people nod like they knew what it meant too. The Dude 🐸 Thought for the Day Kaizen — one more word in the arsenal. Now go do one tiny thing better today. |
