The Long Table

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
~African Proverb~

We live in a world of a thousand followers and a million likes.

And yet — most people can’t name five people who would show up at 2 AM if the phone rang.

That’s not a knock on technology. The river uses every current it can find. But there’s something that happens when you sit down at a long table with real people — faces you know, stories you share, silences that don’t need to be filled.

That’s where the real stuff happens.

The Dude doesn’t need a thousand followers. He needs a long table. People who pass the bread, tell the truth, and stay after the dishes are done.

Build your table. Invite the right people. Go far together.

Thought for the Day
Who’s sitting at your long table? And who deserves a seat that doesn’t have one yet?
